Did any one attempt NIC customization using SDK 5.0? From 4.0, there have been new objects for IPv6 representation.
Following is my understanding
CustomizationIPSettings.ip is the property to set IPV4 settings while creating a customization spec
CustomizationIPSettings.ipV6Spec is the property to be set to specify ipv6 settings while creating a customization spec.
The property "ip" is must to be specified, otherwise the customization will fail. Which ip address should I specify for the property "ip", is it the IPv4 address or IPv6 address?. I tried setting the IPv4 address, customization went through fine, however I see only IPv6 addresses on the guest, although I have tried to customize with IPv4 and IPv6 1x1 addresses. Is this expected behavior?
Few more questions
1. First of all should the "ip" property be mandatory? If mandatory, does this mean there should always be 1 IPv4 address and one optional IPv6 address?
2. Why am I seeing only IPv6 addresses when I specify one IPv4 and one IPv6 address?
3. If I just want to do pure IPv6 customization, its not possible?
