Unable to launch VMware Player 4 on Fedora 17

I'm running Fedora 17 with no patches. I ran the install from VMware-Player-4.0.4-744019.x86_64.bundle, and it seemed to install just fine. I even installed gcc and kernel-devel-tools ahead of time.

However, when I try to launch VMware Player, I get this error:

Failed to launch 'VMware Player'

Failed to execute child process "@@BINARY@@" (No such file or directory).

I'm not sure what to do next. I guess I'll delete the bundle and try to download a new copy. Otherwise I'm not sure what to do. I know I had this running on an earlier install of Fedora, but I wiped it and started over and now it won't run.

Does anyone have any ideas?
