Hi all,
I have configured an alarm in vcentre with an action to run a command. I got this working fine last week, I test it today and the command is not running.
When I logged on today i couldn't power on any guests. I got an "unexpected ESXi host error". (ESXi5)
I restarted hostd and now they power on fine, however my command is refusing to run my script. There are two parts to the alarm, "power off vm" followed by "run a command". The vm powers off correctly but the script doesnt get executed.
I have vcentre on a Windows Server 2008 R2 operation system. If i run the exact command configured in my alarm from Start>run it works perfectly.
If anybody knows why the command won't run from inside vcentre I would appreciate the help.
