Probs moving VM's to new ESXi (new hardware)

I have an older ESXi 4.1 U2 box with 5 VM's (4 server 2008 R2's and 1 WIN 7). I want to migrate the VM's to a new physical box with ESXi 5 U1. The new box has a different CPU (AMD instead of Intel). Before moving I ran several stress tests on the hardware and it checked out fine. I've tried to move the VM's twice now (to ESXi 5 U1 and ESXi 4.1 U2). Both times I've experienced very strange behavior in the VM's once moved. Licensing service won't start (but VM's don't say 'this server is not genuine' one of the servers did show as not genuine one time), My DC had an issue with services starting, my Exchange server also had issues with services starting and MMC's starting, and my RRAS server was blue screening. The new hardware specs I'm moving to are as follows -

Phenom II x4 965 (not OC'd)

ASRock 970 Extreme 4 Motherboard

32GB Corsair DDR3 1600 (running at 1333)

OCZ Agility 4 512GB SSD

I have the latest firmware on the MB and SSD. I've performed a secure wipe on the SSD and confirmed that I have 100% of the reserve memory remaining. I'm thinking it may have to do with the OS flipping out due to changing the CPU but I'm not sure. I tried to reset the licensing (to reenter key) but couldn't.

Any ideas?

Edit - The strange thing is that it wasn't the same issues between the two move attempts. One of the moves the DC was fine. Also my web server was fine on both moves.
