Im hoping someone could suggest something.
A friend of mine had cloned a secondary DC VM which was running a tally application and also
had a file server attached to it on a second partition.
After the clone he had performed a v2v conversion of the VM to increase disk space as this was not possible as the
HDD of the system were all IDE before p2v .so he ended up with a clone and a bigger v2v converted VM.
He then later removed the file server off the clone VM and began to use the VM for tally alone.
Now the v2v converted VM is showing as a DC but no replication is happening from primary to this VM instead it is pointing out to tally
VM as the secondary.
Issue no 2 is in case any new user is created on the PDC and a shared folder is assigned it does not get created on the file server.
When we go into properties of shared folder it says unknown.The present users have no issues creating or modifying the shared folders provided.
Im pretty sure it was an SID issue and so suggested to change the SID of the clone VM running tally now but it has not made any difference
instead the tally application has gone down...
Attaching a SC of the error for the ADC ...when we try running relication for the secondary DC from primary DC .
Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
