Issues using multiple networks inside a VApp?

Hello,

I am trying to set up a VApp to introduce a WAN into my network however it appears that I am not able to talk between the seperate networks.  I have attached an image of how I have setup my VApp.  This setup worked without issue in our ESX5 environment but when I ported it to the cloud that's when things stopped working.

Is my understanding of VApp networks flawed in that these networks are not like the vswitches from the normal ESX environment?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
